This maybe way too late to watch this Wall-E movie. But it's better late than never, right?
To be honest, I already watched the movie. But for now, I watched it again and now I give you my review.
But for you, the ones who don't know what Wall-E is or need a reminder how the story goes, Do not worry, you may read its wiki here.
Story in sentences : Wall-E is a robot from trashful, damaged and abandoned (by human) earth finding his (his feels more proper than 'its') love and fighting for it. and in the end, he wins her and brings human back to earth and let human recover it and go back to their nature.
Here's the movie goes in scenes :
Wall-E is a great movie mixing robots in love to bring enviromental and technology issues right on your face!
In technology aspect, the Human Computer Interraction can be obviously described in some points, here they are.
First it tells that robots' AI(Artificial Intellegence) is developing to its finest level, where robots are planted with emotions and feelings. Described with friendship between Wall-E and the cockroach. Also, romance between Wall-E and Eve. So they can make decision with emotions involved. And it provides better communication between robot and human.
Still related to AI, Expert System and Decision-support System planted in robots are highly evolving too. But unfortunately, It allows robot to override whole of the control to freed itselfs to independently make their own decision. This can be good or bad, the good it will be able to automaticly control whole system with no human hand involved to prevent human-error, BUT it can also have a chance for errors which human may dont realize which can harm human also.
In other hand, the interraction between human and computer is being a complementary bound. In this movie, human is dependent with robot. which is not good, according to moral. It really needs to be awared that there must be an invisible wall that separate human-computer-interraction to avoid human addiction to technology that makes them 'junkies' in technology addiction.
